Privacy statements are often hard to understand. We want to give you a privacy statement you can actually understand.
1. Who are we? We collect information during your visit to the website www.givtapp.net. We only collect this information if we have received your permission to do so.
2. What data do we collect and why? a. When you visit our website We collect information about your visit to www.givtapp.net only if you give permission via the cookie banner. This may include, for example:

b. When you complete a donation in our online environment When you choose to complete a donation via our online donation environment, we collect information about how you use that environment. For example:

3. Which tools do we use? Google Analytics We use Google Analytics to analyse how our website is used.
We have entered into a processor agreement with Google. IP addresses are anonymised. We do not share data with other Google services. The _ga cookie (to see statistically how often someone revisits the website) is stored for up to 2 years; other cookies for up to 48 hours. The viewed_cookie_policy cookie that records whether you agreed to the cookie notice expires after one (1) year.
Amplitude In our app and online donation environment we use Amplitude to analyse how users interact with our digital environment. This helps us understand: which steps in the process work well, where users drop off, and how we can improve the user experience. We collect behavioural data such as:
clicks on buttons or links, the number of steps in a flow, technical error messages. This data is processed in pseudonymised form and is not linked to names or email addresses unless you are logged in to a personal account. In that case Amplitude may record user data based on a unique ID. We use this data only internally.
We have entered into a processor agreement with Amplitude. The data is not shared with other parties. Storage takes place within statutory retention periods and in accordance with Amplitude's privacy policy. 4. Cookies Our website and online donation environment use cookies or similar techniques. Cookies are small files that store information about your use of our services. You can always adjust your preferences via our cookie banner or in your browser settings.
